Applications Utilizing E&I Amplifers

We are using the RF Amplifier to drive the ion funnel, which is used for the mass spectrometer. The ion funnel is device that we use to focus and transmit ions to the vacuum in the instrument. We use the Amplifier for tuning, and try to find what are the best RF frequency (generated from RF generator, low power) and amplitude we can use to get best ion intensity.

We work at the Pelletron-Linac laboratory dealing with research on Nuclear Physics.
